Breast Cancer Ribbon Soap Dispenser

My two Aunts participated in the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk last year and were able to raise a TON of money for the cause. This year, they will be walking again with the addition of my sister & my cousin. I try to help out by coming up with fundraising ideas for them.

The soap dispensers I made over the Holidays were such a big seller (in fact, I'm still getting orders for them) that I thought I'd make a Pink Ribbon version that my Aunts can use to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Here's photos of round one (I'm not crazy about the ribbon I chose for this one. I'll probably be changing that up in future rounds):

Baby Wipes, Round Two

My second attempt at making a stylish baby wipes case was much easier than my first. While attempting the first one, I learned what not-to-do & I picked up some "tricks" that made things a whole lot easier the 2nd time around! So, here's my second case...

Stylish Baby Wipes Case

While nothing can make changing a baby's diaper fun, at least now you can look stylish while doing it!
I've seen these in boutiques for around $35.00 (which I think is a lot of money for a baby wipes case). But, with a little bit of fabric, some batting, and some ribbon, you can make your own! This is my very first one, so it's not as "finished" as I would have liked it to turn out, but I learned some tips & tricks along the way so my second & third ones should be a lot nicer!

Hand-Stamped Onesies

This project will go down as another one of my favorites. Partly because it was so easy to do and partly because they are so darn cute!
I started off with plain, white onesies. I washed them & dried them. I then stamped them using permanent ink and stamps I got from Papertrey Ink called "Baby Button Bits." After stamping the images, I heat set the ink using a heat gun (putting them in the clothes dryer on the hottest setting for 10-15 minutes works too). Then I sewed the matching buttons on - too cute!

Candy and Lollipops

Going to a baby shower? Need a cute little add-on gift? This is a fun way to "dress up" baby washcloths. The candy roll uses 2 washcloths and the lollipop uses 3 washcloths.

Embellished Letters for Baby's Room

Doesn't this project just scream BABY GIRL!?!? Each letter is covered in pretty papers, glitter, buttons, ribbons & there is even a butterfly!
