Highest Bough Card

This is one of my newest stamp sets. It comes with many different "greenery" options so you can use the design for many other types of cards (not just Christmas).

Halloween Party Desserts

We are having a Halloween Party for work and our division is in charge of desserts. Here are little place cards I made for each dessert.

I made mini cheesecakes to share with the group. I left some plain & some were topped with raspberry sauce.

Grow Your Own Pumpkin Patch!

I was looking for something festive to decorate the dessert table for a Halloween party we're having at work. I knew I wanted something that was lit, but I didn't have time to sit & carve a bunch of pumpkins. So, I grew a paper pumpkin patch instead! Inside each one is a battery-powered tealight candle...how cute are these!?!?

And these couldn't be easier to do! I was able to make all three of these using just 1-1/2 sheets of 12" x 12" orange paper plus a few green paper scraps. Total time spent was under 15 minutes for all three!

Cards, Cards, Cards

When I have spare time, I like to sit down and make a stock pile of various greeting cards. That way when there are times that I don't have the time to make one, I can visit my "stash" and still give someone a pretty handmade card.

I am also working on an organization system for all of my cards (stay tuned for that in a future post).

When making cards, I use the same stamps for several cards & just change up the card size, the direction, and/or the decorative papers used. This way you can make several unique cards in much less time.
